Description: Reflections is my second Portal 2 chamber. Learning from my mistakes in Plain and Simple, I sought to create a map that aligned more with the Portal design philosophy. I really enjoyed making and planning out this map. While it got me to think sequentially like Plain and Simple, it also allowed me to explore space in a way that I hadn’t with my previous map, the result was a heavily confined space that adhered specifically to the mechanics involved in the puzzle. The player only has the space they need–nothing more! When testing this map among my peers, the response was more positive which allowed me the leeway to analyze and adopt the Portal design philosophy into my own.

- Developed mock ups for different ideas
- Created grey box prototypes of level for testing
- Added lighting and finishing touches
